I encourage those of you who are in a valley place in your life to not lose hope, your valley is only temporary. When you are at some crossroads in your life, when you are forced to face the trials and tribulations of life, when you are at the point of not knowing what to do, always trust God because He does.
We all go the valley route to get to our promised land. David said, "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me".
See, God is with you in your valley. You don't have to fear any evil, you don't have to fear, or have unbelief and doubt, He's there.
God will use valleys as a temporary place to "refine" you, not as a permanent place of "residency "for you. No, David said, "though I WALK through the valley." Beloved, keep on moving. Even though the valley is painful, in spite of the difficulties and all of the twists and turns, life's ups and downs, and even the presence of death, you must not allow the valley to kill your spirit. Though your flesh may die to some things, such as wrong thinking and lustful appetites, your inward man is being renewed day by day.
The enemy has been telling you, "You're going to die in this place; the promises of God concerning your life are over; God doesn't love you". He's a liar! It's only a shadow of death. A shadow is the darkness that light has yet to penetrate and shine upon. Go through the process of the valley. Let God take those "shadows of death" places in your life, shine the light of His Spirit upon them and cause them to awaken to His truth. He's with you, beloved, and He wants you to know, "Your valley is your place of victory over every shadow in your life.
