I Want To Live For Jesus
For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Phil. 1:21
I want to live for Jesus, To glorify His name! For He bought my salvation, And took away my shame.
Since Jesus came into my heart, Forever to abide, I want to live in such a way, That He is glorified.
So for my Lord and Savior, A witness I must be, That others who are watching, May see Jesus in me.
And when the end is nearing, As I approach my death, I still want to glorify Him, Even with my final breath!
For Jesus gave me victory, O'er death, and o'er the grave; Eternal life He gave me, When my poor soul He saved!
And Jesus waits there for me, With His arms opened wide! So whether in my life, or death, May He be glorified!
