We all look forward to New Year's Eve
People gather from far and near,
There's such a great celebration;
As we ring in another new year.
Millions of people flock to Times Square,
To watch the New Year's ball come down,
And there are parties everywhere,
In every city and every town.
But all the celebrating that we do,
Will one day seem to be so plain,
Compared to that glorious celebration
When Christ comes back again!
Instead of watching a ball descend,
We'll watch the Son come down,
He'll come with all the holy angels,
And we'll all be gathered around!
There will be a banquet table,
With a feast beyond compare,
And all the precious saints of God
Are invited to be there.
What a glorious celebration!
What a marvelous day that will be,
When instead of just a brand new year,
We'll ring in eternity!
Are you ready for that jubilee,
When Jesus comes back again?
Have you accepted His salvation,
Have you placed your trust in Him?
Are you eager for that blessed day,
Or does it fill your heart with fear?
Please take Jesus as your Savior,
For an eternally happy new year!
