The Bible Tells Me So
My Bible tells me the Lord is my Shepherd,
It tells me that He is the Light,
It tells me of how much He loves me.
And I believe it tells me right.

My Bible tells me my Lord is righteous,
He's kind, and just, and true,
It tells about His grace and glory,
And I believe it, do you?

My Bible tells me many things,
That I really need to know,
And when I want to learn some more,
Straight to my Bible I go.

My Bible tells me about kindness,
About peace, and joy, and love,
It tells me where these things come from,
They're from my Father up above.
My Bible tells me to love God first,
To honor my father and mother,
To love my neighbor as myself,
And to also love my brother.

I want to learn more every day,
About all these things I should know,
And when I learn, I learn it right,
For the Bible tells me so!
