Heaven On Sautrday Night
I wonder what weekends are like, Up there in heaven so grand?
Are you fishing every Saturday, In that beautiful heavenly land?
Do they play those good old gospel hymns, All day in that land so bright?
I wonder what you're doing up there, In heaven on a Saturday night.
Do bells ring on Sunday morning, As the choir begins to sing?
Do all the angels join in song, Singing praises to the King?
Is there a Sunday morning service,
Where everyone kneels to pray? Are all your your favorite foods up there In a never-ending lunch buffet?
Do you work up there in heaven? Are there tasks to carry out?
Then when you go to bed at night, Do you rest on a fluffy cloud?
Here on earth, I miss you so much, My days have lost their light,
But I know you're having a glorious time, In heaven on a Saturday night.
