Whosoever

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. (Luke 23:39-43)

In Matthew 10:32, Jesus said"WHOSOEVER therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." In Luke 12:8, Jesus said, "Also I say unto you, WHOSOEVER shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God." John 3:15 assures us: "That WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 11:26 says "And WHOSOEVER liveth and believeth in me shall never die." John 12:46 says" I am come a light into the world, that WHOSOEVER believeth on me should not abide in darkness." And Acts 2:21 repeats: "And it shall come to pass, that WHOSOEVER shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Whosoever. Anybody, and everybody. Jesus did not make any exceptions, nor any add any other requirements, any other conditions we must first meet. He accepts us just like we are. No matter what we've done, no matter what we've been. He said "Whosoever". Any one. Any time. Any place. Even a thief on a cross. Even you or me.

It is never too late to turn to Jesus. Even those who turn to Him in the very final moments of their lives, like the thief on the cross, will be accepted by Him. Our lives would be far more fulfilling and useful to God if we turn to Him earlier, but Jesus will never turn away a truly repentant sinner, even if it is in the last few moments of life.

My friend, please don't leave such an important decision until the last minutes of your life! Turn to Jesus today, and trust Him to show you the same grace and mercy that He showed to the repentant thief on the cross. He will, you know. We have His Word on it. He said "WHOSOEVER". Any one. Any Time. Any place. Won't you turn to Him today?
