Our Safety Net

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor
things present, nor things to come, Nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able
to separate us from the love of God, which is
in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

When the Golden Gate Bridge was being built, workers were dying. They kept losing their footing and falling into the San Francisco Bay. So the builders did something revolutionary — they installed a massive safety net underneath the entire construction area. The workers knew that if they fell, the net would catch them. And because of that, fear no longer controlled them. They moved freely, worked confidently, and finished the job.

Here's what I want you to know today: God has put a safety net under you. When you slip. When you fall. When you fail. Your name is not blotted out of the Book of Life. You are not persona non grata with God.

Romans 3:23–25 says it plainly — we all fall short. Every one of us. But God, in His grace, freely makes us right through Christ Jesus.

And Romans 8:38 seals it: "Nothing can ever separate us from God's love — not death, not life, not angels, not demons, not our fears for today, not our worries about tomorrow."

That's not a license to live carelessly. It's an invitation to live fearlessly. The net is there. Trust it.
