In Loving Memory Of
Michael Robert Hardin
April 11, 1987 - April 10, 2011
He was only twenty three years old, When he took that final ride,
His birthday was the very next day, But that fateful night, he died.
He was his mother’s only child, His father’s pride and joy,
Now all they have are memories, Of their dear, beloved boy.
They go out to the graveyard, Where his name’s engraved in stone.
And wonder how they’ll make it now- Heartbroken, and so alone.
He was much too young to die, It should never be that way.
They wonder why this had to happen, And we have no words to say.
All we can do is pray for God To ease the pain they're feeling now;
To wipe away their helpless tears, And give them peace, somehow.
Dear Michael, may you rest in peace, In heaven’s land so far away;
Safe in the arms of Jesus, And may we meet you there someday.
