 My God Always Has A Better Plan
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, saith
the Lord. For as the heavens are higher
than the earth, so are my ways higher
than your ways, and my thoughts higher
than your thoughts. Isaiah 56:8,9
 Whenever I despair
O'er trials, so unfair,
Or problems that I cannot understand;
I let all my heartbreak go,
Because I've come to know
My God always has a better plan.
Whenever my prayers seem
Like some unanswered dream,
And life seems to be getting out of hand;
I know that God's still there,
And I know He still cares:
My God always has a better plan!
So many times, it's true,
I've told God what to do;
Giving Him a list of my demands;
As if I knew what was best;
But when it comes to the test,
My God always has a better plan.
I've finally learned to trust
That He is true and just,
And that He'll always keep me in His hand;
His plan will always be
Whatever's best for me;
My God always has a better plan!
