My Heart's DesireWith my soul have I desired Thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek Thee early. Isaiah 26:9
I may not ever be the type To set the world on fire, But serving You, my Savior, Is my heart's true desire.
Every day to love You more, To preach Your holy word, To walk within Your shining light, This is my desire, oh, Lord.
My soul belongs to You, my God, My heart for You does thrill. I've given You my love, my life, To gladly serve Your will.
May I ever serve You, Lord, The very best I can, To be a witness for You, To all my fellowman.
I'll obey all Your teachings, And will ever faithful be; I never can repay You, Lord, For all You've given me.
I am a vessel in Your hand, To be whatever You require, Because to be with You in glory, Is my heart's true desire.
