Happy Mother's Day To My Wonderful Mother,
With All My Love

Honour thy father and
thy mother: that thy days
may be long upon the land
which the LORD thy God
has given thee.   Ex. 20:12

When you're young, she's just "Mommy",
Someone who's always there;
Someone who always loves you,
Someone who always cares.

Then when you're a little older,
She becomes your enemy;
She only wants what's best for you,
But you're not yet wise enough to see.

You're just too young to realize
That a mother means so much;
Someone who will always love you,
Someone you always can trust.

But after you've done some growing up,
You finally start to understand,
How precious is a mother's love,
A gift from God's own hand.

And if you're very fortunate,
And your Mother is still here,
You find that she is now your friend,
Someone so precious and dear.

And I was one of the fortunate ones,
To have a loving Mom like you.
I thank God for you every day,
And ask His blessings for you, too.

So often we don't say the words,
That mean more than any other,
So I'll say them to you right now:
I love you, my dear, sweet Mother.
