That's Good Enough!

When I consider thy heavens, the work
of thy fingers, the moon and the stars,
which thou hast ordained; What is man,
that thou art mindful of him? and the
son of man, that thou visitest him?
Psalms 8:3,4

If God should never again intercede,
To help me, when life's getting tough;
If He never answers another prayer,
He saved me, and that's good enough!

If He turns a deaf ear to all my pleas,
I will still call Him Lord, even then;
He's already done so much for me,
When He washed away all my sin.

He gave His Son to die for me,
On Calvary's rugged old bluff,
So if He never does anything else,
He saved me, and that's good enough!

He saved my soul! What a blessing!
He cleansed me from sin, made me whole;
He showered His love upon me
When He saved this lost sinner's soul.

I'll never complain, in the future,
If it seems He won't answer my prayer;
His grace gave me eternal life,
And I know that He's always there!

I'll carry on, through trouble or trial,
No matter how heavy or rough;
I know just how much God loves me:
He saved me, and that's good enough!
