The Harvest

Be not deceived; God is not
mocked: for whatsoever a man
soweth, that shall he also reap.
Gal. 6:7

The Bible said it, long ago:
You'll reap exactly what you sow...

Before you do a foolish thing,
Think of what the harvest will bring;

Ask, before you make a mistake,
Is this the path you want to take?

Your past will come back one sad day,
Then naught will make it go away;

And no amount of bitter tears
Can wipe away those wasted years!

What you reap may even be worse,
It hurts to know you sowed it first.

And when your children follow you,
You'll find what the Bible said is true....

Sadly, you'll learn, to your sorrow,
What's sown today, you'll reap tomorrow!
