You Haven't Done Anything

For the preaching of the cross
is to them that perish foolishness,
but to us who are saved, it is the
power of God. I Cor. 1:18

You tell me that you've heard it all,
That religion's just not your style---
But until you've heard the Gospel,
You've heard nothing at all worth-while.

You may have an education,
With a Ph.D. on your wall---
But until you know the Love of God,
You don't know anything at all.

You may say you have seen it all,
More than any human being---
But until you've seen God change your life,
You've not seen a thing worth seeing.

You may think that you've done it all,
And been as good as anyone---
But unless you've been born again,
It doesn't matter what you've done;

For heav'n and earth shall pass away,
And only one thing can save us---
We have to be washed in the blood
Of the sacrifice God gave us.

Christ Jesus gave His life for us,
Was crucified for me and you---
So won't you give your life to Him?
It's the greatest thing you'll ever do!
