My Lord knows all about me,
Everything I do and say;
He even knows my deepest thoughts,
But He loves me, anyway!

He knows the things I pray for,
And others I don't tell----
Why, even my own mother
Doesn't know me half as well!

He knows each hair upon my head,
He knows what's in my heart;
And I know that never, ever,
From me will He depart.

For He's alive within me,
His Spirit grows and grows;
Whate'er I do, where'er I go,
My Jesus always knows!
