Our Guardian Angels

For he shall give his angels
charge over thee, to keep thee
in all thy ways. Psalm 91:11

God sends His angels from above
To keep us in their care;
And though we may not see them,
There are angels everywhere.

They help when we're in trouble,
But without a lot of fuss;
Though we may say we got lucky,
It's our angel, watching us.

They try to keep us safe from harm,
As we hustle to and fro;
How often have they saved our lives,
And we didn't even know?

When we think back, we always find
Many things we can't explain,
We may say it's just coincidence,
But it's our angel, once again.

They comfort us in times of darkness,
And help, when we're in need.
Many strangers that we encounter,
May truly be angels, indeed. *

So tonight, before you go to sleep,
Thank God for His loving care.
And thank Him for His angels,
For they are truly everywhere.

* Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some
have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2
