Some Other Day

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the
morrow. For what is your life? It is even
a vapour, that appeareth for a little time,
and then vanisheth away.      James 4:14

You claim that you're too busy
Right now, to kneel and pray;
Perhaps you'll turn to Jesus,
But not now: some other day.

You want to live the good life,
And have your fun, you say;
Things might be different, later on,
You might change, some other day.

But what if you should die tonight?
What if your life is taken away?
What if you don't have the chance
To live some other day?

For no one knows the day or hour,
Who will go, or who will stay.
We don't know when our time will end;
We're not promised some other day.

The Savior is patiently waiting,
Please, oh, please do not delay!
I beg you to earnestly seek Him,
Don't wait for some other day.

"Some other day" may be "never"
And, then, what a price you'll pay!
Oh, please give your life to Jesus,
There may not be some other day.
