To My Husband, On Our Anniversary
"Pains of love be sweeter far Than all other pleasures are." John Dryden
As we walk down life's road together, Together, you and I, My darling, always remember- Our love will never die.
The joys and the pains we've shared, dear, Unite us with a love so strong That it's sure to keep burning brightly To light our way all life long.
And all of the good times we've been through Will live in our hearts forever; They're part of the tie that binds us That nothing on earth can sever.
Someday we'll come to the end of life's journey, But not to the end of our love, For my darling, we'll always be together Forever, in heaven above.
