We Must Be A Witness
"Let your light so shine before
men, that they may see your
good works, and glorify your
Father, which is in heaven."
Man needed God's forgiveness,
So Christ was sent to earth;
To provide mankind's salvation
Was the reason for His birth.
And every word He uttered,
And each miracle He did,
Was to teach us, and to guide us,
In the way in which to live.
His whole life was a witness
Of our Father's love and grace,
And with His death, He paid the price
For the sins of the human race.
Those of us who claim God's mercy
To forgive us of our sin,
Must also be a witness,
And live our lives for Him.
For every word we utter,
And every move we make,
Must set a good example,
For our dear Savior's sake.
