Who's Going To Get Your Soul?

For what shall it profit a man if
he shall gain the whole world, and
lose his own soul? Or what shall a
man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:37

You may spend your whole life
Seeking money and all it will buy;
But neither fame nor fortune
Can help you when it's time to die.

You may become a rich man,
With mountains of silver and gold,
But if you don't have Jesus,
The devil will still get your soul.

You may become a world leader,
With power and wealth in your control,
But if you haven't met Jesus,
The devil will still get your soul.

You may be the greatest athlete,
Or a fabulous movie star;
But unless you 've trusted Jesus,
It doesn't matter what you are.

Earthly wealth, or fame or power,
Are fleeting, and won't reach the goal:
For when your time has come to die,
Only Jesus can save your soul.

So won't you give your heart to Him?
Give Him your life to contol,
So that, when your time comes to die,
The devil will not get your soul!

The sad thing is, millions people out there do not even realize the spiritual battle that is being waged for their souls. The Bible tells us:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph. 6:12) And also;
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (I Peter 5:8)

We all need to realize the devil is alive, and is among us at all times, and continues to deceive the world with his lies. Satan is a liar, and the father of all lies, and he wants to destroy us! (John 8:44) But we are not without hope! Jesus defeated Satan on the cross of Calvary! The Bible says:

Forasmuch then as the children are born of flesh and blood, He { Jesus } likewise became the same himself; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. (Heb. 2:14)

The Bible tells us we are either children of God, or children of the devil. No child has two fathers; we are one or the other. God gives us the choice: we can trust in Jesus to save our souls, or we can allow the devil to steal our souls. I pray that you've trusted Jesus, as I have. If you have not, please listen today, not to my words, but to God's words, and give your life to Jesus. Your eternal soul depends on it!

ETERNITY IS TOO LONG
TO BE WRONG!
