Are You Going To Be With Me There?

For the Lord himself shall
descend from heaven with
a shout, with the voice of
the archangel, and with the
trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thes. 4:16

When death takes me from you in this world,
And I'm through with life's daily care,
When I awaken, on Resurrection morning,
Are you going to be with me there?

When the Lord takes His church home to heaven,
Where His glory forever we'll share,
When we get our bright crowns of glory,
Are you going to be with me there?

When I walk, in that heavenly Son-light,
On streets paved with gold, everywhere,
When I sing in that heavenly choir,
Are you going to be with me there?

In that land where there is no more sickness,
No more sorrow, no burdens to bear;
Where all will be joy, never-ending,
Are you going to be with me there?

Where our loved ones will be ever dearer,
And loved far beyond our compare;
There's only one thing I could ask for:
I want you to be with me there.

So please --- give your life to the Savior;
He'll save you from death's darkest snare.
And then, on that Resurrection morning,
I'll know that you'll be with me there.
