Thank You, Cupid

Some years ago, Cupid looked around
At all the mortals on this earthly ground;
He saw me alone, and thought of a plan
To match me up with a perfect man.

So he looked around, until He found you,
Then he smiled, and said, "I'm almost through".
And drawing out his quiver and bow,
He aimed his dart at the world below.

It landed deep within your heart,
Starting a fire from one little spark.
Then, to me, he did the same,
Starting a flicker that grew to a flame.

So we've shared our lives, our love, and laughter,
And we've lived happily ever after.
Cupid did his job so wonderfully,
When he picked YOU to fall in love with me!
