The Lord Makes My Soul Sing

But as it is written: Eye has not
seen, nor ear heard, neither has
it entered into the heart of man,
the things that God has prepared
for them that love Him. I Cor. 2:9

My eyes have never seen the Lord---
We walk by faith, not sight;
But still I choose to serve Him,
And walk within His light.

I know that He is with me,
As real as He can be;
He sent the Holy Spirit,
To guide and comfort me.

My Jesus intercedes for me,
I'll never stand alone.
And I know that He'll return,
To bring me safely home.

He has a place prepared for me,
And will take me there someday.
I've placed my trust in Him, because
He is the only Way.

For all the blessings in my life,
To Jesus, my soul sings!
I thank my Savior every day,
For all the joy He brings.

Yes, I have a home in glory,
Where I'll dwell with Him on high,
Where love and peace and joy abound,
And the soul shall never die.
