What's In A Name?

Wherefore God also hath
highly exalted him, and
given him a name which
is above every name: That
at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow, of things
in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under
the earth. Phil. 2:9-10

The world can identify me,
There's a name by which I'm known;
My Savior's name means everything,
Since I took it for my own.

"C" is for Christ, first and last,
I dwell in Him, and He in me;
"H" is for humble, never proud,
I must learn humility.

"R" is for relationship,
That feeds the heart and soul;
"I" is for me, I must let go,
And give Him my life to control.

"S" is for service for my Lord,
Which I do willingly;
"T" is for tree, which made the cross,
Where Jesus died for me.

"I" is for inspired by God,
That's what the Bible is;
"A" is for my all in all,
All that I am is His.

"N" is for my every need,
God has promised to fulfill;
He keeps me always in His care,
And I know He always will.

A name can mean so many things,
It's more than just a word ---
It means that I belong to Christ,
He's my Savior and my Lord!
