Praise The Lord

Thine, O LORD, is the greatness,
and the power, and the glory, and
the victory, and the majesty: for
all that is in the heaven and in
the earth is thine; thine is the
kingdom, O LORD, and thou art
exalted as head above all. Now
therefore, our God, we thank thee,
and praise thy glorious name.
First Chronicles 29:11, 13

Praise the Lord, my happy heart,
Lord of Lords, and King of Kings!
He's the one who saved my soul,
And gives me everything!

Praise Him for many blessings,
He fills my cup to the brim:
May I never take them for granted,
Or forget to honor Him.

I praise Him for my children,
Each one so precious and dear;
There are so many other parents,
Whose child is no longer here.

Praise Him for my loving husband,
Who works hard in every way;
Praise Him that he has a job,
With so many unemployed today.

Praise Him for our humble home,
And our warm and comfy beds,
When so many others are without
Even a tin roof o'er their heads.

Praise Him we have food a'plenty,
While so many others have none;
May we always share our blessings
With these less fortunate ones.

Praise Him for our happiness,
And for our Christian friends;
We praise Him in our worship,
For His love, which never ends.

My heart sings, when I remember,
How He blesses all my days.
And when I think of these blessings,
I lift my voice in praise.

For He alone is pure and worthy,
Alway faithful, always true;
Yes, I praise the name of Jesus,
And I hope you love Him, too!
