We'll Remember

And God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there
be any more pain: for the former
things are passed away. Rev.21:4

It hurts us when someone we love,
From this earthly life departs;
Although they're never really gone,
For they live on, in our hearts.

We'll remember all the laughter,
All the smiles and tears we shared,
We'll remember all the little ways
They showed how much they cared.

We'll remember all the good times,
And the things they used to do;
The love we shared will still live on,
As long as our hearts do.

They're gone, but not forgotten,
Fond memories remain.
And some sweet day in heaven,
We'll see them once again.

We bid them now a sad farewell,
But trust them to our Father's care.
They're safe in the arms of Jesus,
And someday we'll meet them there!
