The Storms Of Life

When you pass through the waters, I will be
with you; and through the rivers, they will
not overflow you; when you walk through
the fire, you will not be burned; neither
will the flame kindle upon you. Isaiah 43:2

Life's storms may rage about me,
But they can't blow me away---
I'm anchored in the solid rock,
And in that rock, I'll stay!

Thunders roll, and lightnings flash,
But I won't be undone;
I'm anchored in the solid rock---
Christ Jesus, God's own Son.

The winds may knock me over,
The rains may flood me out,
The hail may beat or bruise me,
But I know, beyond a doubt

That Christ, the Rock of Ages,
Will never let me go;
I'm safely anchored by God's grace,
Because He loves me so!

I put my faith in Jesus,
This Rock will ever stand---
Though storms may rage about me,
I'm safe in my Savior's hand!
