That's How Many Songs Of Praise I'm Singing Now
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:5.
As many times as I've fallen, in the wilderness of sin,
As many times as I stumble, here and now, As many times as I strayed, Jesus loved me anyway, That's how many songs of praise I'm singing now.
As many times as I've gone my own stubborn way, As many times as my knees refused to bow, Jesus never failed me yet, and won't let me forget, That's how many songs of praise I'm singing now.
As many times as I back-slide, as many times as I've lied, As many times as I've broken every vow, As many times as I've sinned, He forgave me yet again, That's how many songs of praise I'm singing now.
I'll be singing songs of praise, for the rest of my days, Jesus' blood has washed my sins away somehow, As many times as I've failed, His love has still prevailed, That's how many songs of praise I'm singing now.
