Storms
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they will not wash you away:
when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned
neither will the flame kindle upon you. Isaiah 43:2
I love to hear the pounding rain, When lightning splits the sky, And hear the rumbling thunder, Then watch the storm pass by.
Life is sometimes like a thunderstorm, When our tears, like rain, fall down; Thunder seems to shake our world Lightning flashes all around.
Storms happen to each one of us, That's why we need God's grace; Our faith in God can carry us Through every storm we'll ever face.
God said He'd never leave us, We'll not go through the storms alone; Oh, what a blessed promise! The greatest peace I've known!
The storms in life will always pass, To leave a bright and shining morn; And to appreciate the sunshine, We have to go through the storm.
