Happy Anniversary, My Love

For this cause shall a man leave
father and mother, and shall cleave
to his wife: and they twain shall be
one flesh? Wherefore they are no more
twain, but one flesh. What therefore
God hath joined together, let not man
put asunder. Matthew19:5,6

When our anniversary rolls around,
I look back over all these years,
At the laughter and the love weve shared,
At the heartaches and the tears.

Through good and bad, and in between,
Through tears, and triumphs, too,
Together weve weathered all the storms,
By Gods grace, weve made it through.

A shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold,
Youre always there for me.
And no matter what lies ahead,
I know that you always will be.

My happiness makes you happy,
And brightens up your day,
And you do everything you can,
To make sure that I stay that way.

You lift me up when I am down,
When Im weak, you are strong;
You love me, in spite of all my faults,
And forgive me when Im wrong.

Im grateful for all the joys weve had,
And all the little things you do;
Happy anniversary, my darling ----
Ill always and forever love you!
