Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in God,
believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you
unto myself; that where I am, there
ye may be also. (John 14 1-3)

Left Behind

When the rapture finally happens,
Christians will meet our Lord in the air
What a day of rejoicing that will be,
As Jesus takes us to heaven so fair!

But thousands of people will be in shock,
When they find that they've been left behind;
They’ll wonder why they didn’t make it,
Because they thought they were fine.

They often call themselves Christians,
But the road to hell will be paved,
With countless thousands of people,
Who only THOUGHT they were saved!

They think of themselves as good people,
They’ve never done the "really bad" sins,
They go to church when it’s convenient,
And try to help others when they can.

But sadly, being “good” is not enough,
Never has been, so just save your breath.
For God’s word says we are ALL sinners,
And the wages of sin is death!

Some just won't admit that they're sinners-
They really think that they are okay,
They’ve never asked Jesus for salvation,
Never asked Him to wash their sins away!

Living a good life is not going to save us,
Nor will going to church every day.
Only Jesus can give us salvation,
For only He is the truth and the way!

There will be only two kinds of people,
When Christ returns, He will find:
Those who have given their lives to Him;
And those who will be left behind!
