Tell Them You Love Them
It was a day like any other,
No clue as to what was ahead.
We had no way of knowing,
That in an instant he'd be dead.
The call was unexpected,
Just a few words, quickly spoken.
And our lives were changed forever,
Our hearts so quickly broken.
There wasn't any kind of warning,
That this day would be his last;
Not one of us would ever guess
His life would be gone so fast.
So many things we never got to say,
So many things we didn’t do:
No chance to even say goodbye.
No chance to say “I love you”.
If you love somebody, tell them now,
Don't be afraid to let it show,
Because tomorrow is never guaranteed,
They could be gone before you know.
You may not have the chance again,
So please don't hesitate!
If you love somebody, tell them now,
For tomorrow may be too late!
