Sunday School

Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 22:6)

The greatest things you'll ever learn
Are all taught in Sunday School:
Love God before all others,
And live by the Golden Rule.

The B-I-B-L-E,
Yes, that's the book for me!
Jesus loves me, this I know,
For the Bible tells me so!

You have to be quiet and listen,
If you ever want to learn.
You can’t always be the first in line,
You have to wait your turn,

Don’t hit, or lie, or cheat, or steal,
But be kind to one another.
Sharing is the nicest thing to do,
And you should always help your brother.

Listen when your elders speak,
Show respect to everyone.
And by working all together,
You can get a lot more done.

It’s rude to interrupt the class,
Try your best not to be late,
And remember that you start each day,
With a shiny, clean new slate.

Begin every morning with your prayers,
Asking God to guide you all day long;
And remember to ask forgiveness,
If there's anything you've done wrong.

Then be sure to thank the Lord
For all the blessings He’s given you.
The lessons you learn in Sunday School
Will last your whole life through!
