When Jesus Returns
What will Jesus find you doing, When He comes back for His bride? There won't be any second chances, There won't be any place to hide.

He's preparing us a mansion In that heavenly land far away, He promised that He'd take us there, But we don't know the hour or day.

He could return at midnight, This day, this month, this year, So we must be always be ready, We don't know when He may appear,

Will you be waiting eagerly, As a bride waits for her groom? Or do you dread that coming day, With a sense of gloom and doom?

Will He find you watching for Him, With your lamp all trimmed and bright? Or will you hear those awful words: "Depart ye from My sight."

The time is now to be prepared, To be ready whene'er He may come, So you can hear Him lovingly say, "Well done, my child, welcome home!"
