What If You Died Today?

What would happen if you died today?
Do you know where you will spend eternity?

If you do not know for sure that you would go to heaven,
then you need to know this: Jesus has provided a way for you.

The Bible says that you can KNOW for sure
that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:13)
You don’t have to worry, you don’t have to guess;
you don’t have to hope you'll make it to heaven.

The death rate in this country is 100%.
Everyone is going to die.
When you do, you will spend eternity in one of two places;
either heaven or hell. (Matthew 13:37-42; Rev. 21:7-8)
It’s your choice.

Who needs to be saved?
EVERYONE!

The Bible says that ALL have sinned,
and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
You might think you’re a pretty good person,
but you can’t get to heaven by being good,
or by doing good deeds.

The Bible also says that the wages
of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)
No one can remove that sin so that we can
go to heaven, except Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)
This is the reason He came to earth. (1 Jo 4:9-10)
He died for our sins, because only He
was perfect and sinless. (II Cor. 5:21)

Jesus then rose again on the third day,
the first to be resurrected to eternal life,
so you and I may be forgiven for our sins, (Ephesians 1:7)
and spend eternity in heaven with God.

Salvation is God's free gift to you. (Romans 6:23)
But a gift is of no value to you until you accept it.
No one can force you to accept a gift,
you have to choose to receive it.

If you would like to receive this free gift,
you must understand that you are a sinner,
and therefore you need a Savior. (Romans 10:9)
Repent of your sins, and choose to
turn away from them. (Luke 13:5; Acts 17:30)
Ask Jesus Christ to forgive you and to come into your life.
Accept His free gift. Salvation can be yours today.

Realize that God has a plan for your life.
"For I know the plans I have for you,
plans for good and not for evil,
to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)
God loves you and wants you to have
the life He has planned for you.
He is not willing that any should perish,
But that all would have eternal life. (John 3:16; I Peter 3:9)

Jesus came so you would have abundant life, (John 10:10)
but He won't force anything onto you,
not even this greatest gift of all-
the gift of eternal life in heaven.
He leaves the choice up to you.

So once again, ask yourself this question:
What would happen if you died today?
Do you know where you will spend eternity?
