I want to tell you all about
This Man that I call Lord,
You can meet Him in the pages
Of His precious Holy Word.
He made a difference in my life,
When He said He would forgive,
And that if I’d just trust in Him,
Eternal life He’d give!

He never said I wouldn’t go
Through flood or fire, it’s true;
But He promised He’d be with me,
And would see me safely through.
My Lord has given His Word,
And there isn’t any doubt:
The waters can’t sweep me away,
And the fire can’t burn me out!

He said, "My yoke is easy,
And my burden very light;
You can do it if you’ll trust
In my great power and might,
For I never will forsake you,
Nor leave you all alone,
And you’ll find me waiting for you,
When your time on earth is done!"

That’s why I want to tell the world
What Jesus did for me,
He took me off the road to hell,
And set my spirit free.
He took away my burdens,
Gave me peace and joy within,
That’s why I sing His praises,
And testify for Him!
