He's Coming Again

In my Father's house are
many mansions: if it were
not so, I would have told
you.  I go to prepare a
place for you. And if I go
and prepare a place for
you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there you
may be also.  John 14:2-3

Well, I'm so tired of this world
That I am living in.
Why is it so wicked,
And flowing with sin?
Why can't they see
The Christ who set us free,
And that He loved us so much
That He died on calvary.

There's a land where I'm going,
When this life is o'er,
I'll dwell there forever,
On that bright and peaceful shore,
Where there'll be no more dying,
And no one will grow old,
Where the walls are made of jasper,
And the streets are purest gold.

I'm waiting for the trumpet
To sound, 'most any day,
And then Jesus will be coming
To take me far away.
I'm praying, and I'm watching,
Just like Jesus said to do.
I'll leave this old world and dwell
Where all things are new.

He's coming again,
And He'll split the eastern sky,
I'm going to live with Jesus,
Some day by and by.
I know my sins are forgiven,
And my name is written down,
And I know He's going to give me
A robe and a crown.
