When Jesus Comes

The Lord Descends, A Shout is heard
And Then A Trumpet Sounds
The Dead in Christ first get the word
And Rise from earthly bounds

Then we who find we’re still alive
Will join them in the air
Because of Christ, the Saints survive
And get to meet Him there

Then we will travel to a land
Where time shall be no more
And come to better understand
All things He had in store

For God’s prepared a special place
Beyond our wildest dream
A Gift from Him, His Saving Grace
For those He did redeem

So share Good News with Everyone
And let them know you care
The Answer’s found in God’s own Son
And through a Sinner’s Prayer

(Oh Jesus I have truly sinned
Forgive me Lord, today
Relieve this load that has me pinned
For You’re The Only way)

God’s Love and Joy are wondrous sums
A treasure like no other
Until that day when Jesus comes
We comfort one another !!!

For the Lord Himself will descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice
of the archangel, and with the trumpet
of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall
ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one
another with these words.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
